Today is flag day in Peru. This means parades celebrating Peru and the local municipality. The school kids marched down main street Chuchurras in their school and futbol uniforms. They've been practicing their futbol for a tournament next Saturday.
Our PVC pipes also finally arrived! The community continued to excavate the trench and we installed all of the pipes across the bridge. However, the excavator is still stuck in "maybe we think tomorrow" purgatory, we'll see tomorrow... We were still able to make progress, but also continually finding out more challenges that we'll have to solve.
Snacks were on the mind tonight so we ended the day by entering the snack zone.
